Bonjour! My name is Jessica Leigh Morrisy, I am a photographer and graphic designer from the Jersey Shore specializing in lifestyle portraiture: weddings, portraits, Goddess/boudoir, and children's portraits- you name it. When I don't have my camera in hand, I am working as a graphic designer... creating logos, branding, packaging, etc... Both of my interests keep me buzzing, so this blog is a place to keep clients and potential clients posted on my recent happenings as well as giving some insight into who I am as an artist.

I feel blessed to say I love what I do. This profession enables me to incorporate all that I love, art, style, design, travel, love, relationships, and people. It is truly a joy.

{ Michele & John • Engagement }

Michele & John are an amazing couple. We shot their engagement session last week in Ocean Grove, where there are so may wonderful locations to photograph. We were lucky enough to have a sun shower right before our session(which almost caused us to reschedule, lol.) Lucky for us a rainbow appeared! I have to believe that rainbows and rain are good luck!
We explored a lot, using the boardwalk, pier and even under the pier for some shots, which I simply adore!
Michele & John, thank you for a wonderful evening, Houlihans, and allowing me to be a part of the special moments in your life. I look forward to your wedding in September.

{ Paris 2010! }

I am so excited to announce that I am returning to Paris in late April 2010. If anyone is interested in a portrait, engagement, Goddess, or wedding shoot please email me.

Here is a shot of my favorite bridge in Paris, The Pont Alexandre III with the Eiffle tower in the background. This shot was taken at twighlight, when the lights had just been turned on. j’adore!

This shot was taken of the louvre pyramid at night.

This final shot was taken on top of the Eiffle Tower. It is about 12 shots grouped together to create a panorama. The detail in the full resolution file is amazing!

{ Sarah & John • Engagement}

Sarah and John were so much fun to work with. We shot their engagement session in NYC’s Central Park on a gorgeous afternoon. John and Sarah spent their first date walking in NYC and along the Hudson River, so naturally they chose this special location for the engagement shots and wedding! We laughed prettymuch the entire afternoon, especially when the bubbles came out( not pictured as per John’s request:). I can’t wait to photograph their December wedding! Sarah has such an amazing flair for detail, I know it is going to be spectacular!

{ The Last Time I saw Paris}

Paris is one of the most romantic cities in the world! After experiencing the city for myself, I can see why so many passionate movies were set in Paris… you just want to be in love when you see it! I was lucky enough to shoot an engagement session while there- in my opinion, Paris as a backdrop instantly makes them more amorous:)
