Dina and Tom make such a sweet couple.  I especially love when they recounted the story of how Tom proposed.  He asked her on the “top of the rock” in NYC in the middle of winter.  It was freezing outside, but Dina said she barely felt the cold because she was so happy.  I just love stories like that:)

I decided to design some Save the Date Cards using my favorite store as inspiration.  Here is the design that Sarah and Mike decided to use.

It all started over social networking…yes facebook!  Where would we be without it.  Anyway, we started a group that included everyone from the workshop.  We got to know each other before meeting which was wonderful and arranged a get together to shoot some headshots for eachother.  (Yes even photographers need their photos taken!)  We met in Laguna Beach for portraits and deep dish pizza!  The perfect afternoon.  My boyfriend Mike and I even had our portraits taken…(poor guy- no pressure or anything!)  The following are some portraits I shot of the amazing photographers I had the pleasure of meeting.  Check out their websites too!

This first shot shows just how excited we are about the workshop!  Woo Hoo!

Michelle Lehmann Ocampo is a girl after my own heart- she loves Anthropologie!  Can’t you tell by her super cute outfit!

The Paparazzi!

Anda Marie is such a beautiful person.  She has such a lively spirit and fun way!

Keyonna Renea was so stylish and had a contagious smile.  Oh yeah- she rocked out her portraits with style:)

Julie Spencer Massie was delightful.  She is not only funny, but also spreads her enthusiasm of photography.

Gladys Gem is such an awesome person!  She is such a tiny person- but has a huge heart:)  She was recently engaged to Chris, affectioantely called Mr Gem, so we took some engagement shots.  These two are just the sweetest couple- they had a running countdown till there wedding next year.  I am so happy for them both and hope to catch up with them again very soon!

I can’t even express in words how much these people mean to me.  It it the best feeling in the world to have such an amazing support group and cheerleading squad.  I know we will all keep in touch.  Not pictured but also dear to me:  Radelle Adam Jenson , Anouschka and Ray from Holland, Cassandra and Alicia Lauren (who I am shooting a destination wedding with in Newport this June:)  So psyched!

These two are such kindhearted people whose love you can just see and feel.  I keep finding myself smiling when I look at these photographs because you can see how much they love eachother. Central Park is also a  location very special to them…it was where Danny proposed, looking towards the Bow Bridge.

It was a pleasure to share this afternoon with you both:)

THE PUMPKIN PATCH!

Sarah and Mike were so cute when they retold the story of their engagement.  Sarah was coming home from a business trip- hoping he’d pick her up from the airport.  Mike did not offer to pick her up at the airport.  She was bewildered he had not offered…  What was he up to?  As she arrived in the driveway he was holding a sign that read “Marry Me.”  At that point she got over the ride situation:)

Sarah and Mike are such sweet people.  They are so warm and caring with each other and their “furry kids”…and fun!  They know how to have a good time.  The “thinker” pose was all them..I was cracking up.

Thank you Sarah and Mike for including me in your special memories- I can’t wait to shoot your wedding next fall!

We explored a lot, using the boardwalk, pier and even under the pier for some shots, which I simply adore!
Michele & John, thank you for a wonderful evening, Houlihans, and allowing me to be a part of the special moments in your life.  I look forward to your wedding in September.

Here is a shot of my favorite bridge in Paris, The Pont Alexandre III with the Eiffle tower in the background.  This shot was taken at twighlight, when the lights had just been turned on.   j’adore!

This final shot was taken on top of the Eiffle Tower.  It is about 12 shots grouped together to create a panorama.  The detail in the full resolution file is amazing!
