{ Bridal Boutique }

Happy Friday!  I have so much to share…I am just jumping with excitement!

In the meantime, here is an awesome resource for those stylish brides out there.  Wedding Chicks has a boutique where fashion forward brides can purchase everything from wedding signs to bridal party tees.  I can speak from experience, their line is beautiful.  I purchased tees for my sisters wedding last June, and now when I wear my bridesmaid tee with my pj’s, it reminds me of that wonderful memory.  The tees and banners also make for wonderful details in your wedding photos, and they are super cute!  Check them out:)

{ Bridal Inspiration • The Kissing Tree }

While looking for inspiration on the web, I  found this awesomely, cute site by one of the most amazing wedding photographers in the world – Elizabeth Messina.  She is such a huge inspiration for me.  As I’m sure many of you know- photographers use blogs like crazy these days to promote work and give other photographers tips and tricks of the trade.  I can’t even tell you how invaluable that has been to me and my work.  Just knowing that there are so many other like minded photographers out there has completely blown me away.  We are all helping each other to change the face of wedding photography.

Back to my reason for posting- you can create your own kissing tree with initials.  How cute is that!  I made one and have used it as wallpaper on my computer.  See you don’t need to carve into a tree to get sentimental:)

The site is kissthegroom.com to create your own.

enjoy!

{ Vintage Inspiration }

So here is some vintage inspiration to get you excited for the holiday weekend.  The first section are vintage looking items from my favorite store, anthropologie.  I love the combination of found objects and the script curtains.  So cool.  As mentioned before, etsy has some amazing handmade headbands for brides, this one pictured includes a birdcage veil from Portobello.  Followed by a gorgeous wedding gown by one of my favorite designers, Monique Lhuillier.  This dress can be found in her fall collection.  Wedding Chicks offers these super cute save the dates for free!  Check out there DIY section for all sorts of free templates.  Lastly, I love this eclectic mug and saucer set from Rosanna.  Not only is this set adorable, but they also have some beautiful glassware as well.  Brides to be, you can also register on this site!

Hope this gives you some inspiration too!  Have a safe and happy holiday!

{ Bridal Inspiration }

I am obsessed with vintage accessories for brides these days…I can’t get enough of them!  One of my favorites has been feather headbands and clips…add a birdcage veil and you’re all set.  I have done some research, an they can be a bit pricey, so when I found this video…I was thrilled!  I had to try it for myself.  I purchased the feathers and tools needed at my local michaels craft store.  Voila…an awesome piece that is easy to make and fun to look at!

Check out this video to make your own!

If you aren’t feeling crafty don’t fret…beautiful feather accessories are available at ban.do and etsy.com

Happy Crafting!  xoxo, j
