{ Bridal Inspiration }

I am obsessed with vintage accessories for brides these days…I can’t get enough of them!  One of my favorites has been feather headbands and clips…add a birdcage veil and you’re all set.  I have done some research, an they can be a bit pricey, so when I found this video…I was thrilled!  I had to try it for myself.  I purchased the feathers and tools needed at my local michaels craft store.  Voila…an awesome piece that is easy to make and fun to look at!

Check out this video to make your own!

If you aren’t feeling crafty don’t fret…beautiful feather accessories are available at ban.do and etsy.com

Happy Crafting!  xoxo, j

{ Kristin • Bridal }

My friend Kristin has always been such a free spirit…she loves to have a good time, she is stylish, classy, and despite her petite frame, will take charge of any situation.  Might I add she is a mean beach volleyball player…we played together last year for a summer league.   This weekend, she married her best friend and love… Joe.  Joey T as we like to call him.  Since the two of them met, they have been inseparable. They compliment eachother in so many ways..and I am so happy for them!

Kristin planned a beautiful sunset wedding, something simple and elegant cause that’s her style.  Everyone believed she was going to wear a short classic dress, but in Kristin fashion, surprised everyone with a beautiful floor length lace gown embellished with sequins and a maroon ribbon.  Simply gorgeous.  I attended the wedding as a guest, but was let in on the surprise to shoot these few bridal portraits.   I was simply delighted:)

Congratulations Kristin and Joe!

xoxo
