{ Sarah & John • Winter Wonderland Wedding • Preparations • Nyack NY }

I feel so blessed to say- I have the best clients!!!  Sarah and John exude love.  I mean you can truly feel how much they care about eachother when you are with them.  Their family and friends are beaming, beaming because the are so happy for them.  It is such a beautiful sight to behold.

Sarah is so incredible…she had everything planned for their day perfectly.  She was so amazing at planning, but most importantly, she start a blog to document her wedding planning.  What a fabulous idea!!  I was able to check regularly to see was important to her on her wedding day, each item that she had taken special care selecting, what was specially made, and how important it was.  Every detail had a story.  When I arrived, every piece fell into place…and I knew exactly how important it was to them.

The wedding was beautiful- even though the northeast encountered a huge winter storm.  No one seemed mind at all- in fact, the storm held off till the ceremony was over, and made for some beautiful winter wedding photos.

Here are the preparation photos- stay tuned for the ceremony and portraits:)

Wedding coordinator: Holly at Exquisite Affairs Productions

Florist: New City Florist

Reception: The Nyack Seaport

The bride’s exquisite dress was from Platinum for Precilla

Sarah had vintage pins sewn on her Manolo Blahniks!  LOVE Them!

The groomsmen each wore boutonnieres made by one of the bridesmaids mother.  Aren’t the beautiful!

{ Photos featured in Philadelphia NBC 10 Show }

How exciting, Lifestyle Expert Jennifer Tuma-Young mentioned my studio on NBC 10 Show Philadelphia this morning.  Her segment was all about great ways to de-stress this holiday season.  She included my child portraits, designed with whimsical overlays, as well as great money saving tips for a fun and stress free family get together.  Check out her awesome inspiration below:)

{ Sharri • Monmouth University Bridal Portrait }

The holiday season is here, and I find myself playing catch up with my fall posts.  I’m sorry internet…I will try to do better in the future:)

Sharri wanted to do a bridal portrait at Monmouth University with a splash of trash the dress.  I think most brides love the idea of a trash the dress session, but don’t actually want to ruin their dress.  I completely agree, in fact, I think the term “trash the dress” has a broad definition.  It can simply mean more daring poses than the wedding day such as sitting on the ground or dirty pavement, or it can literally mean trashing your dress i.e. in the ocean or rolling around in the dirt.  Either way…I love shooting these sessions.  Often they are so much more relaxed than the wedding day and you get some really fun shots.  Sharri was awesome…she chose to climb a tree in her dress.  How a cool is that…tuille and satin contrasted with bark and foliage.  I love it.  I totally give her props:)

Enjoy!

{ Danielle & Danny • Central Park NYC Engagment Session }

Danielle and Danny are one of those couples that make you feel so happy to be around them.  First of all, they have the best sense of humor!  I mean, there were points where it was hard to shoot because I was cracking up!  Danny is one of those guys who completely thinks outside the box, so when I was coaching…he did things I have never seen before.  It was awesome!  I told them to touch noses, and he touched Danielle’s nose….literally with his hand- not his nose!

These two are such kindhearted people whose love you can just see and feel.  I keep finding myself smiling when I look at these photographs because you can see how much they love eachother. Central Park is also a  location very special to them…it was where Danny proposed, looking towards the Bow Bridge.

It was a pleasure to share this afternoon with you both:)

Enjoy!
